if google served me correctly, that is the perrin recirc blow off valve which is actually just a bypass valve like the stock one is. so getting this will do nothing for the sound really. i've heard that the perrin increases the sound slightly, but honestly, it is going to be a waste of money for the setup you have. the tial valves are definitely quality VTA blowoff valves, and although some tuners have had issues with them, most the sequential valves on the market are pretty decent. basically, BOV's aren't as bad as everyone in the subaru community make them out to be, and as long as the valve isn't leaking and is adjusted and installed properly, it shouldn't give you any trouble really. just in case you were wondering, i run the HKS SSQV-I and i have ZERO issues with it...no stalling when coming to a stop, no surging at idle, no overly rich conditions, and my subaru didn't spontaneously combust when i installed it...go figure ...been running it for a little over 50,000miles now (30,000miles on my stock motor and a little over 20,000 miles on the built motor)
