I had the Head gasket problem on my '00 OBW at 40k miles. Both sides were leaking. The main symptom that I had was a burning smell.
I also have had the rotors replaced (front & Rear were warped), along with the clutch. The clutch happened after complaining about the clutch shudder several times- one of the service techs turned around and said "that's not normal-let's repalce it!" Both were done at 36k miles.
Thankfully everything was done under warranty!
Even with everything that has been done, I love my OB.

Join us out at the Pine Barrens one of these times. It's a lot of fun, and a good chance to drive off road a bit.
