On my brat I personally used a 32/36 DGEV. (electric choke is what the E means) If you see a DFEV its reversed (works better on an EA82, get the DGEV)

If you get the whole kit you more or less have what you need. Sometimes it seems to bolt on, sometimes you may have to figure out afew things for yourself. Like what to do with the EGR and PCV stuff.

You pretty much need the carb, air cleaner, adapter plate to bolt to hitachi intake manifold, MAYBE a T fitting for the fuel line (on my brat I remember having one, but maybe it came from a carter-weber or something... been too many years) and you may need to buy some plastic fittings and heater hose to plumb the PCV lines properly. Not too hard though.
