What is so hard to maintain about an LS1? Please enlighten me as I have owned four LSx powered vehicles and they have been nothing short of a joy to maintain.

The LS1 is heavier... by 40 pounds. You're right though, the extra four liters of displacement probably isn't worth it.

You want something with a flat torque band, so you chose a rotary motor over an LS1? Is that some kind of joke?

And yeah, putting a 13b into a Subaru is way more budget-friendly than an EJ25x.
