Just for fun, what exact grades are you talking about? My RS has no problems holding speed at ~40mph in 5th, but I live in California. I can do that on grades up to about 5%, which are about as steep as it gets. Of course, if I floor it, nothing happens ecept for some ugly intake noise for a while til it climbs past 3,000 rpm. Anyways, I digress. Yes, there is something not right. I'd be inclined to think it's an O2 sensor, or bad gas. You should be under warranty though, so unless you have some naughty bits on your car you don't want disclosed, just take it to the dealer and tell them "it just isn't running strong." They should at least give it a shot to see what they can find. Plus, you have a new clutch coming to you anyway if you haven't already. (The clutch isn't causing your problems- if it were, your revs would be climbing despite the fact you weren't accelerating.)
