According to this quote.....
I was told the easiest way to "date" a motor was by the writing on the timing belt.
If its still mostly legibly 30k miles
If its legible but hard to read 60k
If the writing is barely there 90k
If its gone 120k plus.
Here's a picture of the writing on the timing belt, yes the writing is there, look closely, it's just that bad.

I'm guessing 100K or more...
And I paid almost $4k, and it's in worse condition than my 240K mile WRX.
