Sandwich adapters are prone to leakage.
The oil galley under the alternator has the OEM Oil Pressure switch in it. There is no drawbacks to removing it, no CELs etc.
There is a second oil galley under the TMIC with nothing in it but a plug. That is the go-to spot for the first gauge.
You can use both these galleys without issue.
You can mount 2 senders in one with a T, however, remotely mounting an oil temp gauge isnt recommended, since it should be in flowing oil, and a T would put it at a dead end.
OK. So I can put in an oil pressure sender in the galley where the OEM pressure switch is, and an oil temp sender in the galley under the TMIC?
Sorry for the noob questions, but what is the dielectric grease for?
