so is the factory galley plug that the dummy sensor plugs into npt? or bspt? can i just reuse the factory galley plug under the alternator or should i buy a new one?

Edit: also i went to install my oil pressure gauge (AEM) and the aem sending unit was .5mm too wide to screw into the factory galley plug. so it only got about a thread into it and wouldnt go any farther. cleaned up the treads with a tap and die and still didnt fit. the thread pitch matched so im guessing that the factory is npt. or could it be a machining error on aem's part? i love this idea and will be stoppping by home depot as soon as i get my answer(s)
