I built a Manx with my father in the 70s and bought this one to build with my daughter. It took two years (!) for this body to be delivered and she had moved on by then. Boys, real cars, etc. So it has become more of a Franken-STEEN as the longer it takes, the badder it gets. So pressing to finish before May of this year. The front suspension from Mendeola is requiring that we cut off the entire bug front suspension mounts and rebuild the tubing. We will be tying this into the side Nascar / SUV bars. With the rear suspension and the spacing of the front suspension we have gained 4 inches in wheelbase and now are at a whopping 84 inches.
