But as has been talked about for, like, forever, how old you are, if you're married, what your driving record is like, how long you've been driving, what other licensed drivers live in your house, the location of your house, and other vehicles you have, miles you drive (sometimes) all count towards what your rate will be. Not just the car you drive.

Someone living in Southie and driving a 20 year old Chevy will likely pay more than I do on my Lotus.

Easier than getting quotes all over the map is to go to an independent agent (like 80% of Massachusetts drivers do) and ask them to shop around for you. When you go to a 1 company agent, they won't look for the best rates for YOU. They look for the best commission for THEM.
