I go to Shore shot right now, but will probably switch to brick after my membership is up.

You have to be careful in NJ. You do NOT need a permit to own a gun in NJ contrary to popular belief. If you legally bought a gun while living in another state you don't need a permit. You only need the permit for BUYING guns/ammo in the state. The permit you are issued is a PURCHASERS permit, nothing else. The problem is our cops are morons, and don't understand the law. If you live out of NJ do NOT bring a gun into this state for any reason except a sanctioned event (ie competition). You may legally transport a firearm through the state but you cannot stop in the state for the night for any reason, as it would then be considered a destination and you'd be committing a felony.

Now PA is little easier, if you are going to and from a PA range, even from out of state it shouldn't be a big deal.

I'd recommend all you NJ gun guys to sign up on www.njgunforums.com . Good place for info etc.
