And yet, when I sit in the driver seat of a Mini, the side of my head is almost touching the top interior trim piece around the inside of the door. This does not happen on my 2.5RS, and it did not happen on my 2006 STI. Your numbers aren't the complete story -- I have a lot more room in any Impreza than I was able to get no matter how much fiddling with the seat I did.

Guilty as charged. I sit taller than a buddy of mine who is 6' 4", even though I'm only 6' 0". He's all legs, I'm all torso. He looked like a child sitting in my STI after I put Recaros in it with the low sliders, while I was very comfortable.
Probably I won't be able to swing a BR-Z, even though I admit to being tempted. After selling my STI and getting the 2.5RS as an interim car, I'm really appreciating what 500 pounds less weight feels like. Even on a car with original 13-year old 125K struts
. The BR-Z sounds like a blast. I'd have to trade cars with the wife every time I needed to take the kids, though.
