Upon further inspection, good thing I bought the Gates Timing Belt kit:
Upon further, further inspection, I found the crack. I have heard of the cracks on VF39's, but not on a VF30.
Things I've completed:
Timing belt and pulleys changed out
Water pump changed out
Spark plug changed out
General cleaning; there was virtually no oil leak to speak of.
Things I have to change out still:
Power steering lines
Switch the AC lines
Wire in AVCS
