The whole point is the Outback is Subaru's most premium vehicle, yet the more lowly Forester is available with higher specs in some areas. Nothing wrong with lots of luxury options on a car with a pedestrian brand. Have you seen the spec sheet of a Focus Titanium?
Well, the only cars I consider "competition" with the Outback are the Crosstour
, the Venza, and the Edge. Most everything else is more expensive. I agree that there are plenty of people willing to pay, but how many is plenty? I think there are a lot of things Subaru should make as an option or accessory. I would sure love for someone at SOA(or anyone on here who understands it) to explain to me why some things couldn't be custom ordered from the factory, like interior/exterior color combinations. If someone was willing to wait, and even pay, why not allow it?
