Component front is a given. skip the rears... spend that $$ on a moderate amp...

If you aren't going to go listen/audition speakers than at least be sure to look at the specs and get the highest sensitivity (90db+) speaker set you can find.

A component set with bi-amp capability later on down the road when a 4-ch amp is feasible, will make you even happier.
