#1.) what tire are you offering for review:

Michelin Pilot Super Sport 245/40/18, 34psi front, 32 psi rear

#2.) what is your geographic location

Dallas, TX

#3.) what types of driving events if any (i.e. track, AutoX, RallyX)

not yet, but wouldn't be on these tires

#4.) percent of highway vs. city driving

99% freeway/tollway, 1% city (and that's to get onto highways)

#5.) your review and personal comments:

I just bought and mounted these today and put only 30 miles on them, but my initial reaction is "WOW". Compared to the garbage stock Dunlop SP600, the PSS feel much better. The PSS is infinitely quieter. I've driven it around town at 35-40mph over less-than-smooth roads and the difference is noticeable. The PSS feel smoother and feel more compliant over cracks, as I didn't feel like the tire was pulling the car into the crack.

At highways speeds of 65-70mph, the PSS is still quieter. No harsh road noises or droning that I experienced from the Dunlops. The cabin is much quieter and the ride is smoother.

I do notice that the PSS is wider than the Dunlop @ 245, and the PSS seem taller too.

I'll be going to Austin over Memorial Day wknd and will drive my car into the Hill Country, so I hope the tires live up to all raves regarding its performance. So far, the PSS has certainly exceeded my expectations as a quiet and smooth UHP tire.
