Since the camera needs power, you still need to get a wire from the camera through the tailgate to a source of power (probably the reverse light circuit unless you want to hunt down a constant +12 back there). And that is (in my opinion, anyway) the hard part. Getting from the back to the front is easy, it's snaking wires through that damn boot to the hatch that's annoying.
I would have hooked up the wireless cam to the back up light, so I thought that would be fairly easy since all the wiring would stay in the hatch.
I don't know how hard it is to route a wire from the hatch to the HU.
It seems that Brys found some passage to route the AV wire. Does this need some special tool to pull a wire through?
