But considering how well the OB loaner with a 2.5fb did on gas when I had it, I feel like they should have left the 2.5 un-sleeved and let us have the same hp as the earlier gen, with a lighter, better chassis. The Legacy non-turbo 4 cyl engine is not the FB25, it has a EJ253. Completely different motor. The Forester has the FB25. The FB is the newer more advanced engine.
The '13 Legacy and Outback will have the FB engine, though...
