Well if everything goes right and the weather holds out the engine will be out this weekend. The short block will be ordered tomorrow witht the gasket kit and I hopefully will be driving my wrx agin by next weekend. First "new" engine I've had so what's recommended for break in procedure and do I go with synthetic oil or stick with my tried and true conventional and every 3k changes. Thoughts?
also im getting thinking that itt is a ring on the piston right? #2 cylinder hd only 25lbs of compression and the leak down blew it right out of the oil filler tube (burning lots of oil and smoking real bad).....could it really be anything else?
