I broke it in like every other new Subaru I have had, by the book to the letter. Even dealer said The pistons were never in that block right. The car now feels great, stable idle ( thats a first ) but never coming ANY WHERE near the mileage I did before. I wonder if the Subaru Xtra S fluid could actually be partly due to this , real stupid ? Gotta put it out there though.
