Meaning if one end or the other's rotational speed starts to vary from the other end it hydraulicly locks. So it's always 50/50 with a minor amount of slippage just to power the locking mechanism.
The CVT cars have an electronically controlled clutch that the computer controls. So it's mostly front wheel until they start to slip, then the compter engages the clutch to the rear wheels.
Next time I'm out and about in my 5 speed 2.0i I'll unplug the ABS unit and see what happens.
yeah, the 90/10 is what i thought i read as the default on the CVT. i guess it doesn't matter as long as it works
