StatGSR, thanks for that bit of info I figured that something like that would be needed without replacing the gauge cluster. AS for my speedo its a little more frustrating, for the legacy the signal comes from the ASB control unit, I have a legacy unit that i swapped in, however if I plug in the unit I still dont get a working speedo and the car is in the rev limit "limp" mode.
Diagnostics show that its a bad ABS unit so I may have to bit the bullet and just get a new one from subaru. What I would give for a subaru select monitor so i could diagnose things mcuh easier.
Oh yeah and I did get my second muffler installed as well as fixed a couple small leaks, Sound is much smoother than before but still a bit raspy around my tach rpm of 3500-4500 ish.
