Also, what is the point on 89 oct? Would it be better? I tried it l last fill up and the performance and mpg was similar. I'm running 91 shell for a tank cause I'm going to be driving a long distance so I need the higher level. and it is suppose to "clean out the gunk"

Your referring to the ones that DirknJirkn mentioned? Have any pictures for reference?
As for the 89 octane I honestly have no clue, every car ive seen is either regular (87) or premium (91), however I have heard the same idea that the higher octane will clean out your engine/tank and mainly because it will burn a little bit cleaner/hotter. Anyone else have some feedback on this?
