Managed to work on the Teener for a few hours today. The car has factory primer, factoy green paint, primer, silver metallic coat for metallic brown (must have been a really nice paint job), clear, primer then horrible powder blue paint job... So I stripped/sanded the front fender, drivers door and the rear trunk. It's a slow tedious process for all the freaking layers of paint.
I have tried everything from wire wheels, paint stripper wheels, Aircraft paint stripper, sand paper.... Best thing I have come up with it 60 grit with all the layers of paint seems to work the best without heating up the panels.. Any feed back or ideas is always welcome.
