Bump!
I did a quick search last night about the bearing issues with Subarus and I came across this issue. I've had my 06 wrx for four years and an 04 for two years before it and I've never came across this. I'm a bit shamed, honestly. And I'm very surprised not to see a sticky about this issue.
Coincidentally, I tore my car apart yesterday to fix an exhaust leak and do some PnPing so I'll do this while the manifolds are out. Though about two months ago I could've tossed it in there when I replaced my oil pan because I hit something and it was leaking.
Anywho, much much praise to you guys (killerbmotorsports) for bringing attention and a fix for this issue to the community. I'll be ordering the pick-up today.
