Although, regardless of the question of my sanity, I do not agree. I think it looks cheap in general, especially when it's chrome trim plastics

I will say, it does look better on darker colors (Mine has actually grown on me a bit), but I still don't like it too much. I don't think it looks good at all on lighter colors, though. It's just an overdose on brightness for me. Then again, I also have a problem with rooms that are painted white. Maybe I'm biased. haha
