I researched both a lot. The difference is the compression ratio will be around 8.6:1 with sti headgaskets on a 255/205 and the CR will be 8.8:1 with a 257. Ask most people and they will say they are basically the same block but idk that .2 count isn't a big change but definitely makes a difference.

cnc is a machine. When talking about hybrid builds and cnc'ing the heads, were talking about portmatching the combustion chambers to properly lower the CR. I didn't do that. I wasn't looking for 40 psi on a rotated kit. I just wanna make like 360whp on e85. I love the off boost torque I have now. Just make sure you get a good tuner.
