The best thing to do is to clean up as much oil as you can and put some oil dye in the oil to show exactly where it is coming from. (brake clean works fine to clean the oil and the grease from the boot).

When CV boot grease gets worn out, it gets thinner, so make sure that it is really oil leaking and not grease from the boot.
