I still can't justify it personally. I bought a $25 truck flap from NAPA and used three washers and some wood screws. Cut the flap with a variety of knives and rounded the corners (took an hour maybe) and then just screwed it in to the stock mounting screws, plus a few extras. They've held up great for a year and a half or two, doing about 8-10k miles total. Plus they block more gravel/mud/water than any flaps I've seen for sale.
