808_wrx - my advise is to fix it properly with a new/used unit. It's simple, pay for your mistake and move on.

If you have zero dollars then remove the solenoid and try to JB weld it in place, but I can guarantee it will break over time. Leaving anything open to vent to atmosphere will harm the motor and kill your HP and most certainly result in a CEL.
