I was just stating that just because the manual say "X" should be use, doesn't mean that the dealership will use "X" stated by the manual, which is ironic.
Legally SOA can only force the dealer to use that if SOA pays for it (IE warranty pay) As long as the oil meets SOA's requirements they are good to go. That said, any dealer personnel with two brain cells to rub together will only recommend and sell OE parts as that is what sets us apart from the corner garage.
