Not only are they not recommended, but they are also extremely dangerous to drive on...not just in snow. The rubber compound gets very rigid in temps below 40 degrees. Anyone driving on them and claims they're okay is only kidding themselves. It's not okay to drive summer tires in the winter. You're a danger to yourself and other drivers.
