Yeah, I'm running 245/40/18 x 9 +38. Originally the tires were very close to the front struts. Only a few millimeters of space between them. Also, under full lock, I rub the fender liners, but that has a lot to do with how low I am as well in addition to the Whiteline Anti-Lift Kit. I'm sitting on RCE Blacks + Bilsteins and just added the RCE camber plates up front. Now that I have the camber plates installed, I have a lot more room between the tire and front struts.
Sluggishness? Yes and no...I mean the car would feel faster if I had a shorter tire on no doubt. I know this from switching wheel/tire setups for winter. But wheel/tire weight also plays a factor in the acceleration department. But to me it's worth the fitment and additional sidewall here in Philly. Plus I don't race my car. The additional sluggishness really doesn't mean anything to me for what I use the car for.
