If the Raider was necessary to do that….then it was money well spent in my humble opinion. I just like to rib ya cause….I tried to give you plenty of hints to figure out the type of riding you wanted to do first, then buy the bike. AS it is, you've done really well. You've stayed alive through a couple riding seasons. I think you are a much better rider AND driver now because of it.
I've been riding a long time, lots of different types of riding, road racing, MX, cross country, ice racing…on and on.
If I was going balls out, hair on fire, wide ass open, above and beyond my abilities, an R1 would still "YAWN" at anything I could do, even on a road I know like the back of my hand. Things get to happening awfully fast on the new generation liter bikes. They are lethal weapons, even in experienced hands.
