Quick story- sold the car a few months ago (I run a small car lot/ repair facility when sales are slow) and it was here this morning when I showed up. I tracked down the keys (I didn't close last night) and went to see why it was here. Hopped in and cranked it over- ran, but with a dead miss. Popped the hood- checked the plug wires to see if they were still in place, - Check. Checked the oil - None on the dipstick. Started looking around for a big leak and saw this-
Looked a little further and then saw this-
2 holes on the same side of the block and it still runs, albeit poorly. Doesn't even sound bad at idle, just feels like it has a misfire. Gotta love toyotas!
EDIT: Customer is mad at us... They bought a 91 camry with 244k miles and didn't keep an eye on the oil level.... Gotta love this business.
