I just read through your whole thread on this. I feel your pain. Every time I have started working on my '78

something comes up. Roof gets blown off the house -$16k, motor in the DD implodes -$8k (terrible mechanic), baby -$$$$$$.
Take some time off. It isn't eating your food or costing you any more money stashed away in the corner. Your FF-1 will be there when you are ready to work on it again. Just remember back to when you first got it to run and tooled around the neighborhood; you can have that feeling again. I'd be in for a PP donation to see this thing run again. In the meantime, start selling your old parts that you aren't going to use to help build back up your funds.
