I actually had the polarizer on and used it but I'm still having issues where what I see on camera doesn't match what I get on pc screen (pc screen matches prints from bayphoto). I'm shooting raw only and the shots from this set were all 1/2 a stop or more off from what I saw on camera preview. While shooting the set I was achieving neutral or +1/3 exposure according to the camera meter. I can't trust my camera and it is frustrating. I tried using the histogram but when preview shows me overexposing areas it is hard to determine which is right.
With the dark shot, I liked how it showed off the lines of the car. I have another frame with proper exposure and it didn't really do anything for me, I didn't feel like the car stood out.
Out of everything, what you've really gotta trust is your histogram. The camera preview can easily be inaccurate, but the histogram won't be.
