It's a clamp-style tower and it's tough to get them to stay put. If just too much pressure is cranked down or if the foot is on just the right(wrong) part of the pillar, they WILL dent. Learned that the hard way.
it looks good. maybe a tad lower.
I'm a pretty small person and i have A LOT of headroom that can go.

sometimes after a really long and rewarding ride, you'll forget that the bike is ontop and drive directly into the garage. brake a seat, seatpost, and seat clamp (which btw my frame is ruined because my seat clamp is built into the frame), and with the force of the bike pushing down on top quarter panels.

here's my good side. i usually mount my bike on the passenger side and the worst damage is over there
