Forged vs cast is a very heated debate.
Plenty of very successful track cars run rotas + other cast wheels. Hell, RPF1's are still technically cast and they are lighter than the majority of the market (forged OR cast, save for magnesium wheels). Either one will hold up just FINE for daily driving, and whoever says pot holes play a factor doesn't know how to drive. Hit a significant pot hole at 70mph and ANY wheel will crack/bend/break. And if you are cracking wheels left and right, find whichever wheel is cheaper to replace.
It comes down to personal preference. If you want them, get it.
