About your oil press gauge install...
I'll be doing the install soon, so I have a question about the galley plug. From what I've been reading, under the alternator is the proper place to get a correct reading of oil pressure for a gauge. The other plug, the one you removed for the temp gauge... Would I get pressure from there as well? Would it be the same reading? I know you didn't do it that way, so I'm just asking in case you know.
The reason I ask is because of the removal of the oem pressure sensor. What effect will this have to the dash light, and the ecu or anything related for that matter? Will I have the dashlight on all the time?
Would you consider wise to add a "T" to maintain both oem and aftermarket gauge pressure sender? I'm not sure how a "T" screwed there would react to vibration, so I'm scared it might crack or break.
