Do you really want to discuss things, or is this a thread for you to tell MT owners that they only exist to get cheapskates in the showroom and that they were wrong to buy a MT?
Someone says they like that MT cars are default 50/50 AWD instead of mostly FWD until there are traction issues.
You: "Doesn't matter unless it's a WRX"
Someone says they like MT cars because of the driver involvement and control of a manual transmission.
You: "Doesn't matter, it's not a drivers car, should have bought a BRZ, WRX, BMW, or VW (lol), if you wanted a drivers car"
In that case, I should've just bought a mid-level Camry! It's much bigger, and is about the same price. I mean, why not get the best non-driver's car money can buy?
This isn't necessarily for you, but for anyone who is on the fence reading this thread: In my opinion, anyone who prefers a manual transmission and is considering a CVT instead is making a mistake. It's not a Miata gearbox, but it isn't even close to being so bad to make someone who prefers a manual choose a CVT.
