I did 110 mph in an Echo in Highschool. It was as stupid dangerous thing to do. The point being that any "pedestrian" car now a days can hit 90mph. Doesn't mean it is safe. Also, the skid pad difference between a Taurus and STi aren't as massively different as you would expect. The truth is that most cars now can pull a fairly decent corner mostly due to the advances in the tire technology.
My point was, I just never heard of "pedestrian car". Maybe I've been missing out.
Anyway, it sounds like STIs are pretty worthless for such minimal gains.
