Any data/tests on how long these coatings actually last? If it buys you another 10k miles on your built block I'd say it certainly would be worth the money. If it is made to stay on for a few races (or say between engine rebuilds for a pro race team) then it may not add a whole lot of life to a built engine that is being driven on the street/highway where miles are racked up pretty quickly.
