I checked the maf sensor and it seamed dry and clean. It may have dried quickly after it had rained. I checked the morning after the issue had began. I originally had this problem after the car had set for about eight hours during my shift and it had snowed about two inches. When I started the car up it would rev high and then die. Did this three times until I gave it some gas and that kept it running.
Not sure if this is any help..........
yea... i would drive 1/4 throttle and it would dry out after a couple of miles and be fine...
