those are, really, the only reasons to switch...if ya gonna dump perfectly good oil every 3k miles....done even think of using the t6

you could likely even run the t6 to 15k miles if you change the fiter at 7k -8k miles and top it off, as necessary
that would make it cost effective to use it
OP, sorry to hijack:

Scotty, I'm curious what your opinion is on time vs mileage for change intervals? Right now I'm only putting 6-7k per year on the car, so I've just been changing it every 6 months. Feels wasteful every time. How often would you change out the Rotella (or Maxlife, or m1 TDT or any flavor of good oil)
