ok there both in the same price range, but the WRX is a MUCH better buy. not only will the WRX significantly out preforms the GT-S in stock form, but it will also be MUCH easier to tune. the GT-S has almost no aftermarket. the WRX aftermarket is enormous and since it comes with a turbo stock its much much easier to tweak and tune the engine for lots of extra horses. not to mention that its AWD (with a center limited slip and rear limited slip) and the celica is FWD. no contest. if ur looking for preformance, WRX hands down.
if ur looking for times:
grassrootsmotorsports got 5.7s 0 to 60 (and 5.5s with a hard launch)
Subaru got 0 to 100kmh(62mph) in 6.5 seconds with TWO other passengers in the car
SCC got 6.1s 0 to 60 (but they always get slower times, for example they got a 7.2s 0 to 60 for the GT-S)
autocar got 5.7s 0 to 60 and 14.5s QM (with the less powerful 215hp eurospec car)
