I could research the difference in sway bars if there's someone out there that's checked out the 2013 Legacy/Outback, but the suspension info will probably never be broken down. There may have been a chance if there was a 2013 2.5 GT, but there isn't, so I'm hard-pressed to imagine someone being enthusiastic about getting technical with what 40% improved suspension REALLY involves.
Subaru is known to do little things like that, though, with little to no explanation and any enthusiast should know this by now. Speculation is our speciality!
How 'bout this: "All models get improved ride, handling and steering due to upgraded body structure with stiffer front strut mounting points and rear frame rails, upgraded suspension that includes a larger rear sway bar, slightly stiffer rear springs and bushings, and upgraded steering. The result is a more responsive car with improved handling and steering and less body sway."
