The previous was really informative and I am also shopping to get the best for my money. I have been looking at some Hybrid Audio Clarus 6.5 components for the front and a Hertz HDP 4 amp. I really think the amp may be overpriced. I have a Nakamichi SP 100 W 10" sub going in and am looking at SQ over loudness.
Where do u live?

I like Hybrid Audio. I actually have met Scott Buwalda and one of my cars won Steele Valley Regionals and Scott gave us a pair of Legatias which require some eq work but damn what a phenomonal driver. that being said I've not heard the components you are talking about so I can't really comment.

A class d amp is fine for a sub. Personally though if you have the current I would stick with a class A or A/B.

The specs to look for in an amp will depend on what you need it for. I would not buy that Hertz amp. What are you looking for just something to drive that Nak sub? Do you already own the sub?

Since you are not the original poster I don't know much about your install. My first question would be what equipment do you already have and how is it installed. Second would be what your budget is.
