its nice to see how nasioc has evolved over the years... I brought the idea of rotating a small stock location turbo back in 05' and I got some flamage over it saying it was a waste of time. Its a different generation more open to new stuff on here now. Its nice to see!
Burschur racing had done this using a 20G and it actually spooled much faster in the rotated location. Less turbo inlet piping. But they didnt get any support over it so they abandoned the project.
Please keep this going as ive been waiting to see the results of a rotated vf39/43/48 since I joined this forum.
A shop could produce a "rotate your stock turbo" kit and sell if for 300-450ish, hell maybe even $500, it would be a hit. Custom downpipe, uppipe adapter, turbo to tmic pipe, and intake tube with spot for the stock MAF = done.
