So I've had the Gimmick hose for a few days and finally got some time to work on the car.
I got the intercooler off and then...couldn't get to the clamp at the throttle body. Perhaps I just couldn't see it very well, as I was working alone and didn't have anyone holding a flashlight to be able to see better, but I couldn't get the damn OEM hose off.
I did test it to see if it would slide off on its own from being loose, but no dice. Obviously, that doesn't mean it couldn't be cracked or otherwise malfunctioning. Am I retarded? Shouldn't this piece be relatively easy to remove/replace? Or is this generally a two person job?
